There's so much for you to get involved in and explore beyond your course – both within the University and around Nottingham city, you'll be spoilt for choice. Some of the options are listed on this page.
Department societies
Each department has its own society run by students for students. They help you get to know other people studying the same subject as you. As well as sports and social activities they also work with department staff to put on careers events and arrange opportunities to meet subject specialists.
I have had so much fun doing things with the societies I am part of, and I have been given so many opportunities because of that.
