Our Equality Development and Inclusion Committee is responsible for developing and implementing the guidelines and policies to ensure our staff are treated purely on the basis of their merits, abilities and potential, regardless of gender, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, age, socio-economic background, disability, religious or political beliefs, trade union membership, family circumstance, sexual orientation or other irrelevant distinction.
This committee also ensures that University policies in this area are implemented within the school. The committee has representation from all areas of the school including research and teaching, administrative, professional and management and technical.
