A sneak peek of LiPP's eye-tracking equipment
Recognition at last! Media interest in the innovative work of the Linguistic Profiling for Professionals (LiPP) business unit reached an all-time high this week, resulting in great publicity for the LiPP team. The peak thus far was reached on Thursday 18 May at around 18.30pm when both the unit and the School of English was featured on television’s BBC News East Midlands Today in a special feature section which showcased the fascinating work the unit is involved in.
LiPP’s own Professor Louise Mullany and Dr Mal Chalupnik appeared on camera extolling the virtues of the eye-tracking service and singing the praises of the unit’s work with local businesses. If you happened to have missed the feature, you can view it on the BBC iplayer (we’re on from around the 11 minute mark) or on LiPP’s website and social media channels.
This highlight marks the end of a great week for the LiPP team, having already found fame in the Nottingham Evening Post on Tuesday. Hopefully the first of many more media spots to come!
