Identification flowchart
Many researchers come to the archive office to consult title deeds and documents which have been identified and catalogued by archivists. However, not all archive collections have been catalogued in detail. Sometimes researchers have to look through whole bundles or boxes of title deeds to try to find relevant information.
Other people may have title deeds in their own possession, and want to know more about them.
This flowchart is designed to help researchers identify title deeds and documents by their date, size, format and content.
