Addressing Malnutrition - Patient's Likes and Dislikes

Large portions can look offputting, particularly when appetite is diminished. Where nutritional status requires improving, small frequent meals or additional snacks are more effective (Kemp, 2001). Wright (2006) suggests that the aim should be for six small meals or snacks per day.
