Professor Jo Leonardi-Bee

Jo Leonardi-Bee is Professor of Medical Statistics and Epidemiology at the University of Nottingham, and is a Co-Director of the Nottingham Centre for Evidence-Based Healthcare, which is a JBI Centre of Excellence. Jo has an established international reputation in quantitative evidence synthesis, experience and expertise in conducting Cochrane Collaboration and JBI systematic reviews, and a strong track record in the development of clinical and policy guidelines.

Jo is a Statistical Editor for the British Journal of Dermatology, an Editor of the Cochrane Diagnostic Test Accuracy Group, and former Statistical Editor of the Cochrane Skin Group. She has significant experience providing and leading Continued Professional development training courses relating to workshops focusing on different methodological aspects of systematic reviews and meta-analysis, on behalf of the Cochrane Skin group and JBI at several international institutions. She has also published more than 50 high quality peer reviewed systematic reviews of randomised controlled trials and observational studies, using aggregate and individual patient data.
