Prof. Sir Martyn Poliakoff elected Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering

Description
Professor Sir Martyn Poliakoff CBE FRS, has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering for his pioneering work in supercritical fluids which was judged "to combine engineering and chemistry in a highly imaginative way". Election to the Royal Academy of Engineering is one of the highest honours for an engineer in the UK, and there are now 10 Fellows at Nottingham including emeritus professors, underlining the quality of engineering research at the University.

MASS student presents research at 4th EDAR conference in Michigan

Join us for our March Science Public Lecture with Dr Sidahmed Abayzeed from the University of Nottingham Faculty of Engineering. Sidahmed is an Assistant Professor of Bioengineering, Optics and Photonics at the Faculty of Engineering. His talk will explore how cutting-edge light microscopes can now visualise the faintest whispers of electricity as they pass between living cells.
