Award-winning all-ability fun run Parallel will host its fourth event in partnership with the University of Nottingham on 19 May 2019.
The University of Nottingham are hosting an exciting, all ability fun run in partnership with Parallel, on 19th May 2019.
The event welcomes people of all ages and abilities to take part in a series of fun runs from 10km to 100m, including the ever-popular Super Sensory 1km course. With inclusion at the heart of the experience, Parallel University of Nottingham operates with the spirit of ‘Start Together, Finish Whenever’. All participants will be given a starters t shirt rather than a finishers t shirt or medal empowering all participants from the off.
The run which will be taking place on the University Park campus, starting at David Ross Sports Village, has been designed to be accessible for all abilities, ages and backgrounds - making the most of some of the University’s iconic landmarks, including the Trent Building.
On the day there will also be a Parallel village set up next to the David Ross Sports Village, where there will be lots of other different activities for you to get involved with. Different organisations, local partners and clubs will be displaying their respective offers, alongside Parallel Beats, which is a live podcast celebrating inclusion and the benefits of being active.
There are different price packages which allow you to enter as an individual, as part of a team or as a whole family. Your entry fee encompasses everything that you can experience on the day. You can take part in any of the distance events and make the most of the event village and other activities provided.
