Work experience and volunteering

Work experience gives you the skills and experience that will allow you to stand out to potential employers and is a crucial part of becoming 'workplace-ready'.

It helps to develop your teamwork, communication and leadership skills, and helps to differentiate you from other candidates by making you more employable.

27% of graduate-level jobs with leading graduate employers are filled by candidates who have previously completed an internship or placement with that employer.
