Part of the School of Education's Continuing Professional Development programme - a one-day conference for NQTs and early career teachers
The day will provide unique opportunities for newly qualified and early career teachers to hear local and national speakers; to reflect on their own practice; learn from others; and develop a plan for successful teaching career in the East Midlands.
Keynote speaker: Professor Dame Alison PeacockDame Alison will talk about 'Learning without Limits', an inclusive approach to teaching that seeks to find a way through for every child. As Chief Executive of the Chartered College of Teaching, Alison now leads our professional body. She will discuss ways that we can raise the status of teaching through an evidence-informed approach that restores trust and agency.
