The School of Education is an exciting and rewarding place to study. We are pleased to welcome students from across the UK, Europe and the world into our vibrant community. As one of the largest and most respected education departments of any UK university, we lead the way in research and teaching quality.
The latest Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) confirms our position as 6th out of 82 Education departments in the UK.
16 June Celebrate Cycling - Join us for a fun filled day for all the family featuring cycle polo, film showings, vintage bike exhibitions and more.
We will also be showing a newly commissioned play, 'A Lifetime Guarantee', by local writer Andy Barrett, telling the story of the Raleigh Factory where so many people in Nottingham worked. Click here for further details and other performance dates.
The Raleigh Project: A joint initiative co-ordinated by the Schools of Education, History, Computer Science and English, examining the site of Nottingham’s former Raleigh factory, now the Jubilee Campus of The University of Nottingham.
Whilst each programme has its own unique focus, all courses aim to deepen and refine the capacity of students to reflect critically upon their thinking and practice. The School of Education has a diverse and vibrant taught courses community.
