School of Education colleagues to present at BACP annual research conference

The British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) annual research conference takes place on 19 and 20 May 2023. Representing the School of Education, Jen Holland will be presenting a poster for her PhD research and Alison McLauchlan will be presenting her MA dissertation research.

Jen is an Assistant Professor in Human Flourishing and teaches on the MA Person-Centred Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice course, she will take over as course leader in June. She is a member of the Centre for Research in Human Flourishing and co-founded the Human Flourishing Project which provides free psychotherapy in the Nottingham area.

Alison has her own counselling and psychotherapy practice. She studied the on MA Person-Centred Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice course and her dissertation explored how the collecting of research measures could be made more accessible for people with learning disabilities.
