Warrior Women - civil war virtual tour

For many years the School of Education have been hosting students from the University of Connecticut's Neag School of Education who join us for a semester and work with our Initial Teacher Education staff and students. During their time in the UK, they work with local museums where one of the outcomes is to produce education materials.

We're delighted to share the work of Neag's Julia March and Faith Gately. They worked with the National Civil War Centre and created a virtual tour about women during the civil war, bringing together their research and perspective as well as lots of the museaum's fascinating existing assets.
