Biography

Helen is a tutor on the PGCE science course.

She graduated with a first class honours degreee in combined science from Nottingham Trent University where she also undertook her PGCE.

She has worked in North Notts schoos as a Key Stage 3 Coordinator for science and has been involved in mentoring PGCE students throughout her career. She was a founder member of the schools IQEA (Improving the Quality of Education for All) cadre which aimed to increase the range of teaching and learning strategies used within schools. She has also been involved in the national pilot on high order thinking skills.
