School Holiday Lessons

Description
During the school holidays, we offer a variety of swimming courses and lessons to develop swimming skills in a fun environment. Available for young people and adults, we offer 1-2-1 and group week-long intensive courses, and during the summer, 1-2-1 and group Pay as You Go lessons. These intensive courses are ideal for building water confidence and swimming technique at a quicker rate to weekly lessons.

Schools

Description
We work closely with a number of schools to deliver sessions within your school setting or here at the University of Nottingham to enhance your physical education provision and inspire your students to find out more about university life. Schools can also hire our award-winning facilities, including our climbing wall and swimming pool.

Sport in Schools

Description
Our Sport in Schools programme is an exciting outreach programme that aims to introduce young people to new sports through a set of fun and engaging sessions. Delivered by our passionate student leaders, it's free-of-charge for Nottingham primary and secondary schools.

Sport scholarships

Description
As well as a reputation for academic excellence, we have a history of sporting success and are passionate about supporting promising athletes during their time at Nottingham. We have four current sports scholarship packages as well as a range of specialist options. Please see below for details of what each package includes - please note financial awards denote the maximum award at each level and may vary.

Sports Injury Clinic

Description
The Sports Injury Clinic is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located within David Ross Sports Village at the University of Nottingham.

Sports Massage

Description
At our Sports Injury Clinic, we deliver a full range of Sports Massage sessions which involve the manipulation of soft tissue to alleviate pain and provide treatment for a range of musculoskeletal problems including sports injuries, muscle tension, inflammation and stiffness.

Staff Sports Membership

Description
Staff sports and fitness memberships offer excellent value for money here at the University of Nottingham as well as the convenience of being based on the same campus as your workplace!As well as the £40 million David Ross Sports Village, staff membership also includes access to our sports centres on Jubilee and Sutton Bonington campuses and fitness suite on Kings Meadow campus.

Whether you want to gym, swim, climb or compete in one of our sports clubs - our Student Sport and Fitness Membership has got you covered and with so much on offer, we give you the power to shape your own fitness and lifestyle journey.Students can use all three of our facilities at David Ross Sports Village, Jubilee Sports Centre or Sutton Bonington and over 80+ University gyms around the country when they head home.All yours, all on campus.

Sutton Bonington Sports Centre

Description
Sutton Bonington sports centre is ideal for students, staff and members of the community based near our rural Sutton Bonington campus in Leicestershire. The fully-accessible facility includes a sports hall, 30-station fitness suite, studio, two squash courts and an outdoor 3G pitch.

Swim School

Description
We offer an extensive Swim School programme for all ages and abilities from 6 weeks old to adults. Our expert coaches aim to provide all swimmers and outstanding experience in our comfortable, safe and fun environment.

Swimming

Description
Swimming is a great way to stay fit and healthy in a relaxed and comfortable environment and at our state-of-the-art David Ross Sports Village we offer a fantastic range of facilities, including a 25m eight-lane pool, a hydrotherapy pool and a luxury Health and Wellbeing Suite. Home to a number of University sports clubs, our pool also offers reserved swimming times for our members and a comprehensive Swim School programme for all ages from 6 weeks old.
