Our research-led, evidence-based teaching is underpinned by quality research.
Our collaborative approach to research results in projects being led by members of staff who work with visiting academics, PhD students and external research partners.
Our current research is based around three central research hubs:
We pride ourselves in the quality of our research. Much of it is published widely and we regularly contribute to distinguished management, social science, business and society and business ethics journals.
The broad academic backgrounds of our staff span specialsims including business ethics, business and development, professionalism and CSR, markets and democracy, sustainable supply and value chains, and sustainable business. Our research informs best practice in business, government and civil society.
Much of our research is carried out in partnership with a network of international visiting professors and fellows. We share our knowledge and expertise at conferences, annual symposiums and workshops.
We bring an international perspective to CSR which for example includes a specific focus on CSR in Africa and thw wider effects of globalization on CSR activities worldwide.
