Research Topic:Constructing the social value of public-private partnership in maternal and child healthcare in Ghana: A practitioners' perspective
Research Details:The thesis is framing analysis of practitioners' perspectives of the social value of public-private partnership (PPP) in maternal and child healthcare (MCH) in Ghana. It aims, first, to explore and illustrate the framing of social value as a concept and resource for management action, and, second, to develop a comprehensive framework of social value analysis. Consequently, the conceptual framework of the research is based on a multilevel analysis of two comparative cases of MCH public-private engagements, namely, as integrative and autonomous partnerships. The study is set to advance a multilevel analytic theory of the structure and content of the social value concept in management and organisation studies in particular and the social sciences generally.
