Research Topic:
Reverse Business Innovation for Sustainable Development

Research Details:
The research critically examines the interplay between innovation, businesses, and sustainable development. It adopts the unique lens of reverse innovation, a perspective often relegated to the periphery in contemporary academic discourse (Govindarajan and Ramamurti, 2011). It primarily focuses on understanding the phenomenon of reverse innovation and its application towards sustainable development. The research proposes a multi-tiered investigation: identifying and examining instances of reverse innovation and determining their micro determinants, and developing policy recommendations that reflect the evolving role of businesses and developing countries in driving sustainable development. The ultimate aim is to redefine the traditional paradigms of global governance and propose a more balanced, inclusive system that recognises and encourages the contribution of businesses and developing nations to sustainable development.
