PECEGE Digital Strategy Immersion Week

In December 2025, Executive Education welcomed participants from Instituto Pecege to complete our Digital Strategy Immersion week held in Nottingham and London.

Instituto Pecege are a Brazillian non-profit education provider who collaborate with international institutions to expand access to quality education. They are dedicated to developing individuals and organisations and they offer a range of programs, including executive education, to empower career development and business initiatives.

Our Executive Education team designed the Digital Strategy Immersion week as part of our International Experience offering. These programmes are aimed at masters and MBA students from international universities and they provide a unique opportunity to combine knowledge, networking, experiential learning and practical experience in a global environment.

Participants from Pecege stand together in a group with members of the Executive Education team, holding their participation certificates. In the background, a large Christmas tree and two Executive Education banners are visible.

Alexia Chlamtac, who participated in the programme, explains what she was looking for when taking part:

“As a manager, I feel driven to the continuous search for new learning to continue developing my team and business in the estúdio ondina. Professional growth needs to bring a balance between theory and practice, without letting balance weigh more on one side or the other. With the rush of everyday life, it is essential not to leave studies and updates aside.”

As part of the programme, we ran interactive sessions covering the digital fundamentals of AI, big data, cloud computing and machine learning. The participants were also able to discuss digital trends and innovations, sharing their ideas and experiences.

With the Business School's Digital Centre of Excellence, we ran workshops using SAP Business Builders and SAP Analytics simulations, and the Nottingham-based element of the programme concluded with a session by Professor Andrew Callaghan which explored digital strategy.

The programme closed in London where the participants visited the offices of Capgemini and Lego to understand large scale digital transformation and experience global e-commerce in action.

Reflecting on the programme, Eduarda Ferreira de Lima said:

“From hands-on simulations to real-world case studies, the programme offered a powerful blend of strategy, technology, and innovation. It strengthened my understanding of how organizations can leverage data to transform their operations and stay competitive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. A truly game-changing experience.”

Jefferson Dantas de Almeria added:

“I return to Brazil with new perspectives on the role of data in digital strategy and the certainty that experiences like this expand not only technical knowledge, but also the global vision of business and innovation.”

We were delighted to host the group and look forward to working with Instituto Pecege again in the future.

Participants from Pecege visit the City as Lab installation during their programme. They are shown standing around the model, a lit up digital projection of the city of Nottingham on a textured table, as a member of the City as Lab team talks them through
