School of Cultures, Languages and Area Studies

Congratulations to CLAS students who completed the Nottingham Advantage Award this year

The 2017 Nottingham Advantage Award Celebration Event took place on Tuesday 13th June 2017, 2-4.30pm, in the Senate Chamber, Trent Building, University Park.  The Award gives students the opportunity to stand out, the vision to achieve their goals and recognition for their commitment in completing extra-curricular activities.

The Celebration Event was attended by students who had completed the Award as well as University staff who convene Advantage Award modules and external organisations who also support the delivery of Advantage Award modules. The Event recognises the achievement of students who have completed 30 credits of extra-curricular Advantage Award modules, with several students winning employer-supported awards for their achievements.

Several students from Cultures, Languages and Area Studies completed the Nottingham Advantage Award this year, which is a fantastic achievement, so well done to all!
