Congratulations to Tony Kapcia (Modern Languages and Cultures) and Harriet Champion (Year 2, BA French and Philosophy) who have been awarded the Vice-Chancellors medal. The Medal is awarded for exceptional achievement by staff or students. Harriet was nominated by Tara Webster-Deakin (Widening Participation and Outreach Manager) to recognise her great contribution to the University's outreach work; Tony was nominated by Rosi Smith (PhD student), in recognition of his support and promotion of Cuban Studies through supporting students, tutees, PhD students and ECRs over many years.
