The Department of Cultural, Media and Visual Studies is a vibrant and exciting academic community. We strive to enrich the experience of our staff, students and the local community by engaging directly with cultural industries, galleries, museums and institutions in the UK and internationally.
We host regular events for a variety of audiences including academic conferences, film screenings, exhibitions, public lectures and workshops.
Our department is also involved in a number of outreach activities, primarily working with local schools and colleges.
