Culture, Film and Media alumnus Philippe Audi-Dor has written and produced his first feature film, Wasp, which is available on VOD and DVD on 29 September. Wasp had its UK premiere at the Raindance Film Festival on Sunday 27 September.

Produced by Blue Shadows Films, Wasp is the debut feature film from writer-director Philippe Audi-Dor, starring Simon Haycock, Elly Condron and Hugo Bolton. Shot in the south of France, the film is currently touring festivals world-wide, including the Raindance Film Festival (London) and Film Out San Diego, where it recently won Best International Feature and Best Actress.
Film synopsis
Olivier and James’ romantic break in the South of France is interrupted by the sudden arrival of Caroline. Everything seems calm as they bask in their idyllic settings, though Olivier finds himself more and more intrigued by the young woman. Slowly tensions of sexual jealousy and possessiveness start to simmer under the Provençal sun.
