Paul Gladston secures funding for International Conference
Congratulations to
Paul Gladston
(CFM), who, working in collaboration with the distinguished art historian Prof Lu Peng, has secured the equivalent of £30,000 from the Sichuan China Fine Arts Institute to stage an international conference in autumn 2017 at the institute on ‘Contemporary Art in Trans-cultural Contexts’. Sichuan Fine Arts Institute is China‘s oldest art academy of higher learning, and one of the country’s top three fine art academies. Paul Gladston has also been appointed as a guest professor at the London campus of Sotheby’s Institute of Art for 2017. The Institute has campuses in London, New York City and Los Angeles. Paul will give occasional guest lectures to undergraduate and graduate students at the institute related to modern and contemporary Chinese art.
