Date(s)
Friday 15th (10:00) - Saturday 23rd March 2013 (17:00)
Description
Crop-Up Gallery: Nature Through the LensNature Through the Lens explores the importance of photography in capturing scenes of nature in both scientific and artistic contexts. The exhibition explores how photography can have an isolating effect on nature and alter our perspective, whilst at the same time functioning as method to represent nature in a very exact and scientific manner. By addressing both scientific and artistic audiences through similar imagery highlights the diversity of photography.

Nature Through the Lens offers an array of subjects based on the broad theme of 'nature'. From close-ups of plants to wider landscape scenes from around the world, the exhibition offers a wide range of photography for every individual to connect with.

The exhibition takes place in the P Spowage Art Gallery, off Byard Lane, City Centre.

Opening hours are:

  • Monday - Saturday: 10am - 5pm
  • Sunday: 11pm - 4pm

The exhibition opens 7.30pm, Friday 15 March.
