Established in 2007, Nottingham Confucius Institute (NCI) is a non-profit organisation based at the University of Nottingham with a mission to promote Chinese language and culture. In addition to our Mandarin courses (see overleaf), we engage with local communities through various projects and events to enhance understanding between China and the UK. Join us to make beautiful origami flowers of your own to keep, frame and decorate your home. You can also have a go at writing your name in Chinese with traditional brush and ink with help from our NCI volunteers.
