Chinese Calligraphy Competition at Alderman White School

December saw the first Chinese Calligraphy Competition take place at NCI's Confucius Classroom at the Alderman White School. It was organised by our CC teachers with support from the school's language team. A total of 138 year 7, 8 and 9 students submitted their calligraphy art work for consideration, with the best 30 proudly selected by the teachers and displayed on AWCC's China exhibition board.

The Alderman White students cast their votes and the top ten winners were announced on December 20.  They were awarded Chinese brushes, ink and rice paper in time for Christmas - perfect for arts and crafts fun during the break!

爱德曼华特孔子课堂成功举办书法比赛及展览

2018年12月20日，为期三周的书法比赛及展览在爱德曼华特孔子课堂落下帷幕。

此次书法比赛参与学生共138位，涵盖七、八、九三个年级，收集书法作品138幅。经爱德曼华特中学四位语言教师评选，其中30幅作品参加书法展览，展览地点选在语言教室外的走廊。

最后，经过为期两天的全校范围内的投票，选出最棒的10幅作品，颁发奖品。其中一等奖三名，奖品是毛笔、墨水和宣纸；二等奖7名，奖品是毛笔和宣纸。

此次书法比赛及展览圆满成功。学生普遍反映非常享受，有一位学生甚至认为这是他上过的最棒的一次汉语课。
