Services on campus may close or have reduced opening hours over the Easter break.
The Spring term finishes on Thursday 28 March and the Summer term will start on Monday 29 April. For more information on university closure dates, visit the key dates webpage.
The university will be closed from Friday 29 March to Tuesday 2 April (inclusive) and on Monday 6 May for a bank holiday. Facilities on campus will experience reduced opening hours during the Easter break and may even close for some of this period.
Please note, from Tuesday 2 – Friday 5 April (inclusive) there will be no access to the Life Sciences Building from the George Green Library side while the footpath in front of the door is being re-laid.

Derby
Closes on Friday 22 March at 4pm and will re-open Monday 22 April at 9am.
University Park East, University Park Central, Queen's Medical Centre, Jubilee Campus
These centres will all close at 5pm on Thursday 28 March and will re-open on Wednesday 3rd April.
Sutton Bonington
This centre will close at 7pm on Thursday 28 March and will re-open on Wednesday 3 April.
Catering
Catering outlets may have adjusted opening hours or close completely over the Easter break.

Hopper buses
The term timetable will run up to and including Thursday 28 March. From Friday 29 March until Tuesday 2 April (inclusive) there will be no hopper bus services on any routes.
The holiday timetable will commence on Wednesday 3 April, running until Saturday 28 April, on the following schedule:
- 901 – normal timetable, Monday - Sunday
- 902 – normal timetable, Monday – Friday
- 903 – holiday timetable, Monday – Friday and no service Saturday
- 904 – holiday timetable Monday – Friday
- 906 – no service
The term timetable will recommence on Monday 29 April.

Libraries
24/7 opening hours will end on Thursday 28 March and libraries will enter vacation opening hours until Monday 29 April. Please check individual library webpages before visiting.
From Friday 29 March to Tuesday 2 April the following three libraries will be open and all other libraries will be closed.
Access to resources over the break
Check your library account and return any books you don't need before you leave campus.
Libraries also offer support and services over the break including access to other institutional library spaces and resources across the country, the option to request scanned chapters of books and articles from journals, and even books delivered by post.
Access to library cafes
The café at George Green Library will be closed from Friday 29 March to Sunday 21 April (inclusive) to allow repair work to take place following recent flooding that has affected the floor.
The Café at Hallward Library will close Friday 29 March – Sunday 28 April, during which time a new counter will be installed, and some maintenance undertaken.
ResX
ResX will provide support and events over the break.
