Please be aware that study abroad options may change at any time for a number of reasons, including curriculum developments, changes to arrangements with partner universities, travel restrictions or other circumstances outside of the University’s control. Every effort will be made to update this information as quickly as possible should a change occur. Please note that, in order to be accepted on to a study abroad programme, you have to achieve the relevant academic requirements as set by the University AND meet the selection criteria of both the University and the partner institution (though the partner institution is under no obligation to accept you).

Electrical and Electronic Engineering

University-wide

Eligibility

All students: Apply in first year to study abroad for full year of second year.

MEng students: It is not recommended for MEng students to study abroad in third year at a university-wide partner due to the possible impact on degree accreditation. Exchange in third year would be subject to students finding a suitable individual project (that replaces the final year project usually taken in the 4th year at Nottingham) at the partners applied for. Students should have this pre-agreed with partners before making their application to the University-wide programme. Any student considering this must contact Dr Ed Morris.

Minimum 60% academic average required to be considered.

All module choices must be approved by Dr Ed Morris to ensure that the student remains on an accredited degree. Any student who wishes to apply to study abroad at a University-wide university not listed below should consult Dr Ed Morris.
