Recognition and Awards

The University aims to ensure that staff are rewarded and recognised for excellent performance and contribution to the University that goes above and beyond normal expectations.

This section details the rewards available to staff, via the Nottingham Reward Scheme and the Long Service Awards.

Nottingham Reward Scheme (Important update - February 2024)

Whilst the University remains committed to recognising the continued hard work and contributions from colleagues, please note that after careful consideration, the Nottingham Reward Scheme has been temporarily paused as part of a cost-saving exercise. We hope to be able to restart nominations from 1 September 2024, however, will review this nearer the time considering the financial position for the 2024/25 academic year.

Long Service Awards

Long Service Awards are given to any member of staff who has completed 25 and 40 years' continuous service with the University.
