Philosophy student wins the Collaboration and Communication prize, supported by BT

First year philosophy student Bisola Majekodunmi has been awarded the Collaboration and Communication prize. The prize that is supported by BT looks for students who demonstrate outstanding collaboration and communication skills which are a core part of working at BT. The application for this prize helped Bisola to work towards achieving the Nottingham Advantage Award for which she has taken part in two other modules; Japanese, Inspire Mentoring Scheme, and Save the Children Enterprise Scheme.

The award was presented by Lucie Svandelikova who works in business development at BT Global Services. As part of the prize Bisola will visit BT headquarters for a day to network with staff, join live meetings and attend a mentoring session with a professional career coach. The £100 prize will also go towards Bisola's continued enthusiasm in learning Japanese which she feels will enhance potential for her future career opportunities.
