The King James Bible

The University Chaplaincy invite you to three lectures to celebrate the 400th Anniversary of the King James Bible - its aims, its inspiration, and its affect on English language and culture. These free public lectures are in the Great Hall at University Park, open to all.

Wednesday 9 November, 7.30pm
The Living Word within the Printed Word
Anthony Thiselton, Emeritus Professor in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies

Wednesday 16 November, 7.30pm
A word in season: the KJV and English
Dr Paul Cavill, Department of English

All lectures will have a bookstall and refreshments available.
