NUsearch changes coming soon
About the planned upgrade
University of Nottingham Libraries will be upgrading the system that supports our library search tool, NUsearch during the latter stages of the upcoming academic year. This work is part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible access to library resources.
This is a change to the original date as it gives us an opportunity to work with the supplier on a new project designed to get the most from the upgrade process. Further details will be shared as soon as we have them.
Most of the changes are taking place behind the scenes to help the system work more effectively, but there will be a few changes to the functionality of NUsearch including:
- Real-time updates – Changes to our library collections will take place in real time. This means if we purchase an ebook, it will be available for immediate access rather than the following day.
- Search within journals – A brand-new Search Inside section will be added to each journal record allow you to search for articles within a specific journal.
We will share more details of the upgrade, including any actions you may need to take, closer to the time.
