The Machining and Conditioning Monitoring team has developed and continues working on challenging research projects with industrial partners and different government agencies. 

These projects include applications such as the integration of robotics for the in-situ repair and maintenance of aeroengines over the internet, the improvement of ultra-hard materials for tooling applications, the machining for safety-critical aeroengines components and the application of robotics in hazardous environments.
