Biography

Rupinder studied Psychology at Birmingham City University and went on to completed a MSc in Cognitive Neuropsychology at the University of Essex graduating with distinction. After completing her Master's degree, Rupinder worked as an assistant clinical trials analyst and then as an operations support officer in a 3rd sector mental health and wellbeing services.

Rupinder is now working in the Centre for Rehabilitation and Ageing Research within the Injury and Inflammation Sciences unit.

Recent Publications

Current Research

Rupinder is a research assistant working on the NIHR funded Promoting Activity, Independence and Stability in Early Dementia research programme designed to help people with mild cognitive impairment or early stage dementia to remain active and independent for longer.

Rupinder is also a PhD student in the Mental Health and Clinical Neuroscience Unit and is using functional MRI to explore the nerual correlates of balance and exercise in older adults with mild cognitive impairment and dementia.
