Current Research

I am currently working as a systematic reviewer for the Cystic Fibrosis group. As we lost our NIHR funding, along with all the other UK based Cochrane Review Groups, we are now funded by the US CF Foundation and UK CF Trust. We are working on a programme of work to support their guideline writing. The themes underway are;

  • Intravenous antibiotics for pulmonary exacerbations in CF
  • Macrolide antibiotics for cystic fibrosis
  • Nontuberculous mycobacterium
  • Infection prevention and control
  • AI

As part of the Evidence Based Child Health Group we are currently disseminating the results of our priority setting refresh and looking to see to what extent current clinical trials reflect the top ten priorities for research.
