The University of Nottingham has been awarded gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). This means based on the evidence available, the TEF Panel judged that the University delivers consistently outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for its students. It is of the highest quality found in the UK.
We have announced an unprecedented £200m investment in our research to help solve global challenges. These include securing sustainable food supplies, ending slavery, transforming healthcare, discovering carbon-neutral solutions and developing greener transport systems.
The investment is funding six Beacons of Excellence as well as more than 500 new jobs at the University.
The University has won the International Strategy of the Year category at the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards 2017
