Dr. Bike dates for June and July

Appointments are available for the Dr. Bike maintenance service with Nottingham Bikeworks.

Dr Bike is a free on-site bike maintenance service. The Dr Bike mechanic will give cycles a thorough check and make minor repairs, such as changing brake blocks and tightening brakes. Dr Bike will only work on clean bikes. 

The service and any parts used are free of charge

Sessions may be cancelled if there is not enough interest. In this case, those who have booked will be warned at least 24 hours in advance.

If you are unable to attend a booked slot, you must cancel your appointment a minimum of 24 hours beforehand via Eventbrite or by emailing sustainability@nottingham.ac.uk . You may lose booking rights to future sessions if you do not cancel your slot in plenty of time.
  • Please be aware that drop-in sessions may be busy and you may be required to wait to have you bike looked at. Consider arriving slightly later in the day if you only have limited time available.

  • Please note that if your bike requires a significant amount of work or is in a very bad state of repair, it may be rejected by the bike mechanic, who will advise on further work needed at a local bike shop.
