IT Facilities

Our students have access to general IT facilities through Information Services Computer Resource Areas (ISCRAs).

These are conveniently located around the University campuses in libraries and other IS resource centres.  There is an ISCRA on the ground floor of the Humanities Building, which:

  • is open to all members of the University
  • contains PC workstations and print access
  • is connected to the University’s data network

Many computer rooms are open 24/7 (with a short closed period for cleaning). Larger computer rooms/areas also have laptop plug-in points and wireless access.

Digital Humanities Centre

Becoming familiar with the visual aspects of the past is an essential part of studying humanities. The Digital Humanities Centre in Room A24 gives you access to a wide range of expertise and tools to create, modify and assess visual material.
