Staff parking
Parking permits are issued by the Security office, located at the rear of the Hallward Library, to applicants who meet the following eligibility criteria. Both permits and voucher options are vehicle specific.
From September 2022, all full annual permits will be virtual and no physical permit is required.
Occasional User vouchers are still paper based. A permit matching your voucher serial number & vehicle registration must also be on display - otherwise the voucher is not valid.
Students do not qualify for staff permits or vouchers. Anyone with a student status at the University must be apply for a student orange zone permit. Further information can be found here.

Eligibility criteria for staff permits
- Available to staff on the UoN payroll
- Who have a contract of employment with Human Resources
If you are not directly employed by the University of Nottingham and are not a student at the University then you may need to apply for an Associate permit.
Applying for your permit or vouchers online
You can apply for your permit or vouchers online by clicking onto the link below. You will need to enter your University username and password. If you do not know this information then please contact the IT Service Desk.
To apply for vouchers, please select 'Occasional Driver' under the Driver Scheme when making your application at the the link.
Staff based at the Royal Derby Hospital
For staff based at the Royal Derby Hospital permits are issued by the University Security office, rear of the Hallward Library, University Park.
There are a limited number of permits which are being made available to members of the University. The permits are only eligible for the RDH University Car Park and Manor Car Park.
