For academic buildings that don't have "building" as part of their name, make it lower case:
Law and Social Sciences building
Life Sciences building
Don't capitalise the "h" in "halls of residence", unless you're writing the name of a specific hall:
If you choose catered accommodation, you'll live in a hall of residence on campus.
