Research Topic:The informational role of prestigious gatekeepers under different economic conditions and regulatory reforms the case of IPO market.
Research Details:The research investigate the the informational role of prestigious gatekeepers under different economic conditions and regulatory reforms in terms of earning management and IPO underpricing. The first chapter look at the effect of prestigious gatekeepers on the manager’s tendency to manage earnings and the trade of between real an accruals earning management.
The second chapter examines the market assessment of the value of credit rating on the IPO pricing under different economic conditions and regulatory reforms.
The last chapter explores the effect of industry specialist auditors on the IPO pricing and the effect of the global financial crisis on that.
