Research Topic:Long-term Relationships with Artificial Companions: Well-being, Self-Disclosure and Trust
Research Details:This project will explore the relationship between self-disclosure and artificial companions, designing empirical research to identify determinants of customer well-being associated with artificial companions. This project will identify the type of artificial companions and the level of users' self-disclosure when they interact with these artificial companions as important antecedents to development of trust, and would propose a framework that addresses the elements that shape user's emotional support and long-term well-being.
