At Nottingham, you can study ancient history, classics or archaeology as stand-alone subjects or as part of a joint honours degree with another subject.

Undergraduate courses

Single honours courses:

  • Archaeology BAUnderstand the discipline of archaeology and how archaeologists interpret the past
  • Ancient History BAExamine the political, social, economic and cultural history of ancient Greece and Rome
  • Classics BAStudy Greek and/or Latin and use your language skills to think about the ancient world, its culture and history
