The Complete University Guide 2013 has ranked Nottingham’s Music Department as 9th strongest in the country, out of 71 Music Departments.
This places Nottingham above York, Surrey and Southampton, and also above all of the major UK Music Conservatoires.
The Complete University Guide compiles its league tables on the basis of Student Satisfaction, Entry Standards, Research Assessment, and Graduate Prospects. The rising position of Nottingham’s Music Department in these and other league tables directly reflects our commitment to improved student experience, including increased contact hours, enhanced feedback, and the provision of new vocationally-oriented modules.
