Xenia Pestova performs on the Magnetic Resonator Piano

xenia pestova playing Magnetic Resonator Piano
Dr Xenia Pestova will be featured in the exciting Approximation Festival in Dusseldorf, Germany this February.

She will perform her own music on the Magnetic Resonator Piano, an innovative new instrument designed by Andrew McPherson in London.

The ground-breaking Magnetic Resonator mechanism can be installed on any grand piano, completely transforming the action of the instrument we all know and love. This means that any note can literally last forever instead of decaying while the musician can control and shape minute details of resonance directly from the keyboard.
