Support for distance learners
As a distance learner you can access library services wherever you are from print and online library resources to study skills support and more.
Getting started with your library services
University of Nottingham Libraries offers a wide range of services to help distance learners access the resources, spaces and support they need, when they need it.
- NUsearch will be your one-stop shop for searching and accessing our extensive library collections including almost a million print books, 300,000 ebooks, 140,000 journals, databases, TV, film and more.
- Your online research materials are just a click away with the free LibKey Nomad browser extension and most print materials in our collections can be supplied by postal loan or digital scans (within copyright restrictions).
- Looking for a place to study and can’t make it to Nottingham? Request access to a library closer to you through the SCONUL Access scheme.
- Boost your study skills with our free programme of study skills support with webinars, one-to-one appointments and online resources you can work through at your own pace covering topics such as time management, referencing, using databases, critically evaluating information and more.
