Win a National Trust membership for helping promote biodiversity

This month, UoN are joining a campaign with Nottingham Trent University and residents across Nottinghamshire, to connect with nature and help promote biodiversity.

World Environment Day is celebrated annually on 5th June. This year’s theme was #OnlyOneEarth, this is the only Earth we have, and we must do all we can to look after it! You can take part in the campaign on the UoN Green Rewards app and desktop platform for the whole month of June, alongside 30+ other sustainability and wellbeing activities.

Get involved by submitting a photo to the biodiversity photo competition, joining the people’s nature reserve by pledging to leave some of your garden to grow wild or finding out more about the Wildlife Trust’s #30DaysWild campaign. The winner of the biodiversity photo competition will receive a National Trust membership!

Don’t worry if you don’t have a garden or green space near you – there are still lots of ways to get involved!

To start taking part, sign up to Green Rewards today at uon.greenrewards.co.uk or download the free app for iOS and Android by searching for ‘UoN Green Rewards’ in your device’s app store.

By lots of us coming together to take action for nature, our small actions can add up to make a big difference.
