HSK Exam Prep Lessons

To help improve students’ Mandarin Language proficiency and achieve better results in HSK exams, Nottingham Confucius Institute will offer 3-week free online HSK preparation lessons (Level 1-6) before each exam is held at our test centre. The next round of sessions will take place on Monday evenings 17 and 24 February, and 3 March 2025 with the following schedule:

6:00-7:00pm Levels 1, 3 and 5
7:00-8:00pm Levels 2, 4 and 6

Anyone in the UK with an interest in HSK exams, whether planning to take an exam soon via any CI or simply wishing to test their Mandarin proficiency, are welcome to attend. 

The next HSK test (paper-based) administered by NCI is scheduled to take place on Sunday 9 March 2025 with the registration deadline at 12:00 noon on 9 February. Visit here to register or find out more.

How to book your free place

Please register online by midday Wednesday 12 February. Registration is open now.

Your place will be confirmed by 12:00 noon on Friday 14 February. ZOOM meeting instructions will be emailed to you by your tutor by Saturday 15 February.

Terms and conditions: 

  • Applicants should usually be over 18 at the start of the course.
  • A minimum of three students are required in order for a course to run. Should any courses not recruit sufficiently, we reserve the right to cancel the course.

  • Wherever possible, classes will be taught by the same tutor, however NCI reserves the right to replace a tutor if necessary.
