philosophy politics

The project will include three free public philosophy events, each consisting of two short talks from different philosophers or public thinkers (eg, writer-activists) plus audience discussion, on topics of social importance and public interest.

The topics are:

  1. Gender Identity
  2. Racism
  3. Disability and Illness.

The overall aim of the sessions will be to create a space for collaborative discussion of issues of contemporary significance, informed by the expertise of professional philosophers but with space for audience contribution.
